Developers & Other MCP Clients

Connect Liquid Co-Invest to Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Claude Code, or your own TypeScript and Python agents. MCP server URL, OAuth scopes, and configuration snippets.

Co-Invest is a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Any MCP-compatible client can connect to it and get the same research, portfolio, and trading tools that power Co-Invest in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Meta Muse.

Server URL: https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp (the bare https://coinvest.liquid.trade also works)

Transport: Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 (authorization code + PKCE). Sign-in happens in your browser on app.liquid.trade. No API keys to paste.

Scopes: read (market data, portfolio, account state) and trade (placing and managing orders behind confirmation).

Cursor

Add to .cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "co-invest": {
      "url": "https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http co-invest https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp

Run /mcp in Claude Code to complete sign-in.

Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, and Other HTTP Clients

Point the client at https://coinvest.liquid.trade/mcp as a remote HTTP MCP server. Each client has its own config location; the URL is the only value you need.

Stdio-only Clients

For clients that only support local stdio servers, bridge with mcp-remote:

Building Your Own Agent

Use any MCP client library for TypeScript or Python to connect to the server URL above. After OAuth, list tools to discover the current catalog: market analysis, market search, news, technical indicators, portfolio, open orders, order execution, TP/SL, position management, prediction market orders, deposits, leaderboard, and referrals. Trading tools in the interactive profile return a confirmation step; see Co-Invest Computer for hands-off execution with risk limits.

Liquid also offers a public REST API with API keys or OAuth and separate read and trade permissions for building bots and integrations. Ask in Discord for access.

Unverified App Warning

Connections from clients Liquid hasn't verified show an "unverified app" warning on the sign-in screen. That's expected for less common MCP clients. Read what the screen says you're approving before you continue.
