Liquid is a non-custodial trading app. Your funds stay in a wallet only you control, secured by passkeys and biometrics, with no KYC required to trade and no single point of failure.
Non-Custodial by Design
Liquid never holds your funds. Your account is a self-custodial wallet that only you control. Every trade, transfer, deposit into Earn, and withdrawal is signed from that wallet. There is no Liquid server that can move your money, freeze your account, or block your trades.
This is fundamentally different from a centralized exchange or broker, which takes custody of your assets and can halt withdrawals, run fractional reserves, or go bankrupt with your money inside.
Sign-in and Keys
Sign in with email, Google, Apple, or an existing crypto wallet.
Passkeys and biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint) secure your account and sign your transactions. There is no seed phrase to lose for embedded wallets, and no password to phish.
Add or recover sign-in methods from your profile at any time.
No KYC Honeypot
Liquid does not require identity verification to create an account or trade with crypto. Centralized exchanges store massive amounts of sensitive identity data, and when that data is hacked, users are exposed. On Liquid there is nothing to leak. Some fiat payment providers require a one-time verification for card or bank deposits; that data is handled by the provider, not stored by Liquid.
What Connected Apps Can and Cannot Do
When you connect Co-Invest to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Muse, iMessage, or Chrome, you grant a scoped OAuth permission:
Can: read your portfolio and market data, and stage orders that you confirm.
Cannot: withdraw or transfer funds out of your wallet, change your account settings, or send an order without your confirmation.
Revoke any connected app from your Liquid account settings at any time.
Audits and Official Domains
Liquid's smart contracts and infrastructure are reviewed by third-party auditors. See liquid.trade/audits.
liquid.trade and its subdomains (app.liquid.trade, docs.liquid.trade, coinvest.liquid.trade) are the only official Liquid domains. Liquid is not affiliated with Liquid Brokers, liquidmarkets.org, or the former Liquid exchange (Quoine). Liquid will never ask for your passkey, seed phrase, or password.
